Studying at University
Welcome to “Studying at University”. Here you can access support and guidance to develop the essential skills you will need to develop as a reflective, resilient and curious learner. It is aimed at all students, whatever your level or mode of study. If you are new to higher education, this resource will help you to understand what is expected of you as a student, and guide you in developing good study habits and self-care. If you are a returning student or a postgraduate, you will find opportunities to reflect on your study skills and experiences, and focus on your own areas for development.
Each of the themes will underpin and consolidate many of the learning activities and discussions you will have within your course and with your PAT, covering areas such as criticality, note taking, reading, understanding feedback and self-care. The first two themes start by encouraging you to reflect on your own areas for development and to keep a record of your learning.
